Looking for a study partner

Hi everyone!
I am currently starting to study for JLPT N3 (probably for december). I don’t have a lot of people in my circle learning japanese, so would be cool to find someone to study together sometimes, practice speaking and maybe read some book together (like a book club).

First of all, welcome to the community! :raised_hands:

I myself am not really looking for a study partner, just wanted to wish you luck on finding someone! Don’t be discouraged, it might just take some time. If you don’t find someone here, you might as well look somewhere near your area. Perhaps there are some Japanese groups? A library with some postings? Or you could make a posting even. There are various options.

And in case you haven’t seen, there’s lots of book clubs here you could join. There are various ones, I’m sure you would be able to find something you enjoy,

Id be willing to be a study partner, but i cant really afford buying books in japanese every month so i generally avoid the book clubs. If you were interested in a every other month or slower book club or study materials club id be willing to join you.
I also tend to excel at speaking out loud practice. However I am terrible at being able to just read a block of text without a long time to slowly decipher it with a lot of Google help😅

hi! no problem, I have some books digitally, but we don’t even have to do the book club part :smiley:
or we can just occasionally discuss something we read :smiley:

Hi! I think we have different goals since I don’t intend to take any tests, however happy to join a book club!

Hello! I had never thought of this before, but would be interested.

I’m currently also working through N3- I started late last year so there was no way for this last December, but would definitely be open to anything like reading, chatting, studying together!
