I’m looking for a flashcard App for vocabulary. I would like a free one because I already pay for too many subscriptions. (Please not Anki). Thank you.

I am using Quizlet. It is free and simple.
+ You can make decks of cards and choose the languages for both sides of the cards.
+ If someone else already made a card for a word you started typing, they show you the completed card as a suggestion and you can finish it with one click.
+ You can learn your last mistakes separately.
+ You can choose for which side of the card you want to be quized.
+ You can make a lot of Decks.
- No spaced repetition system.
- There are like a million features that you could buy and the amount of buttons trying to convince you to upgrade can be a bit bothersome.

In case you want to try more options. I use Phase6, a German app.

Use built in SRS. But you can also quiz yourself on any item you want easily

It does have paid version (for feature like they can automatically add the audio for the words you input)
But i use the free version and it works completely alright and ads free -
Can do flashcard from both direction

Can divide the vocabs by different topics

For flashcard you can chose to type the answer or press “I was wrong”/ “I was right”

When you first open the app the first page you see might be german but worry not, the app is entirely in english

Hi! You can use clyda.app, there is only a web app for now (usable on mobile), but we will introduce a phone app in the future too!
