Today I listened to
MIU404 Episode 1 for the second time. I watched it with hidden Japanese subs, but clicked on them to become visible when needed. I rewinded a lotttt and looked up vocab. It took me like two hours (for an hour episode), and I got 17 new anki cards out of it (I tried not to do too many and I still ended up with 17 lol). They talk sOOOooo fast, and mumbled, sometimes. But I’m hoping a lot of repetition will help! I do really enjoy listening to it intensely/multiple times though. I love getting to notice a lot of the small details that tie together or get called back to! Some things that I didn’t even notice before. Next watch through on this episode, I think I’ll still rewind and look at the subs a little bit, but I want to try not to rewind too much and focus on trying to catch some of the meanings and words I looked up today. I now know some of the lines and job-specific words better already. I’m already looking forward to it!! Hehe
