「Slow Japanese」の第10回を英語に訳してみる。
皆さん、こんにちは。Slow Japaneseのあかりです。この番組では、色々な話題について、ゆっくりな日本語で話します。今日は私の一番の旅行の思い出についての話です。
実は、このトピックは私にとって少し難しいです。なぜなら、一番の旅行を決めるのがとても難しいからです。どの旅も大切で、思い出が沢山あります。でも、今までの旅行で一番感動した国は、アイスランドです。アイスランドの自然は本当に素晴らしいです。２０１５年の９月に、私は初めてアイスランドに行きました。深夜の２時ごろにケプラヴィーク空港に着いたのを覚えています。空港の床で寝ましたが、まあまあ寒かったです。初めは一人でバスに乗って、アイスランドを一周しよう、と思っていました。でも、ある日、天気がとても悪かった時、その計画は変更しようと決めました。天気が悪い時、バスに乗ろう、というアイデアはあまり良い考えではありません。なぜなら、バスがキャンセルになるからです。
この頃、私はカウチサーフィングと言うコミュニティーのメンバーでした。そして、アイスランドに旅行していた他のコミュニティーのメンバーに連絡をしました。３人のカウチサーファーと一緒に車を借りて、アイスランドを一周しました。車でアイスランドを一周するのは大変でしたが、最高でした。私たちはいつも車の中で寝ましたが、とても寒かったです。アイスランドは、氷、水、山、海、川、湖、など、全てが美しかったです。夜にオーロラも見て、写真を撮ることが出来ました。

Hi everyone. It’s Akari of Slow Japanese. In this program, I talk about various topics in slow Japanese. As for today, I will talk about memories of my best trips.
Actually, this topic is a bit difficult for me. Because deciding the best trip is very difficult. There are many important and memorable trips. But of my travels so far, the country that moved me the most is Iceland. The nature of Iceland is truly amazing. The first time I went to Iceland was in September of 2015. I remember I arrived at kepravik airport around 2 o’clock in the middle of the night. I slept on the airport floor, and it was fairly cold. At first, I thought I would take a ride on the bus around Iceland by myself. But I decided to change my plan that day when the weather was really bad. I thought the idea of taking the bus during really bad weather was not a good idea、because the bus will be cancelled.
At this time, I was a member of a community called “couch surfing”. So then I contacted other community members who were traveling to Iceland. I rented a car together with 3 other couch surfers and we went around Iceland. It was tough going around Iceland by car, but it was the best. We always slept in the car, but it was very cold. Iceland has ice, water, mountains, seas, rivers, lakes, etc, and they were all beautiful. At night, you can see and take pictures of the aurora borealis.
