Ah nice to meet a fellow LWA fan! 
I’ve been rewatching it again for the fourth or fifth time but this time with no subtitles! I’m pleased that I can understand most of what’s going on - plus it really helps that I already know the story.

I failed to say anything at the time. 
I joined way back in 2013, but I was absent for so long in the middle. A lot has changed since then and now WK is even better! I’m glad to be back and making progress with all of you

I think it would be okay for older kids. Some of the concepts might be too advanced for elementary school students

I have the ultimate time line… And the very first master>enlightened reviews are coming up! Not this coming Wednesday, but the following.
I’m excited nonetheless. In a little more than two weeks. I will have gotten my FIRST EVER, in three years of being on WaniKani, turtle to enlightened, and I will be level 10, higher than any level I’m gotten before resetting. I’ve learned and mastered more grammar than I ever have before. I can’t believe I thought I was ready for the N4 the last time I took it but I could actually be ready for the N4 this year. Proud of myself.

Yeah that one’s a bit out of place. It’s a reality TV show called Terrace House that my boyfriend and I have got very addicted to. It’s also very useful for Japanese learning because it’s a just bunch people of people in their 20s casually chatting (and sometimes going on dates) with one another.

It’s the yearly anniversary of the day you joined the forums! It automatically adds a little cake to your username that day. I wish I took a screenshot but I didn’t
As for how my WK is going, I had a bad brain day today. 
I got about 75% on my reviews when I’m usually in the 90s. Guess my memory didn’t feel like playing along, but all that means is I can reinforce those items stronger. 
I’m eager to finally end level 10 (I’m at 18 days now) but still committed to not rushing through with poor memory. They will stick soon!

Level 19! Two more to go before 21 and the start of “Death.”
Only one more level to go before I’m 1/3 a way through wanikani. Took about 6 months.
There is a lot going on in my life. Now that my husband can work from home I’m starting to prepare for job search. My programming and graphic design skills were never super high level and I’ll have to really polish them before seriously job searching since my Japanese is about B1 which is right below business Japanese.
