I just leveled up to L12 and noticed the lesson counter in TK no longer matches WK. TK says 94 and WK says 14…
probably you have a daily lesson limit set on wanikani, which doesn’t get reflected in the app
Ok but what does the lesson count in the App even represent then? And if any of the app developers are reading this why wouldn’t you have built the app to mirror what I see in WK? Thanks you!

i don’t know the app, so i don’t know why they wouldn’t match wanikani
on wanikani, if you click on “advanced” in the lessons widget, you’ll see them all
The mobile app you are using is not developed by the actual WK team.
WK has built in recommended amounts of lessons because people don’t realize how SRS works and slam all their lessons at once and then get frustrated
It is probably easier for the app to just display objectively how many lessons you have available.
Thanks I see that now under the Advanced section in Lessons in WK. At least I understand what data is being synced now and it’s not a bug. Suggestion for the TK developers would be if they could sync today’s lessons too.
Somewhat related, if this isn’t an official app how come you don’t have to use an API key but just log directly into your WK account from TK?
