Hello,
Zaziki here (in this case it’s pronounced like さつき).
I am having a blast using Wanikani. The Mnemonics are so unbelievably helpful. I’m in the lucky position of not having to work at the moment while I’m in Japan, so I am dedicating most of my day to studying (immersion, Anki, Wanikani). I’m still trying to optimize the whole process, so if anyone has some advice for how to most effectively use my time, that would be very much appreciated. Currently I’m doing about 30-60 minutes of Anki (10-15 new words per day, planning to lower it if the workload gets in the way of Wanikani), however much Wanikani decides to feed me each day, watching / reading stuff about Japanese grammar and the rest of the day I’m either mining words / phrases out of Manga / irl labels or decompressing by playing videogames (usually in English). I will do more irl interaction as soon as I am back in a more densely populated area (currently in 千葉県).
I really just wanted to post because I felt like it. Thank you to the whole community! I read quite a few posts already and it’s really interesting to read about other people’s experiences with learning Japanese.
P.S:
