Hi guys! I really can’t understand Kenichi’s recording of the following words:
小学生
中学生
大学生
For the 学生 part, I hear something like なくせい instead of がくせい. Is it the recording or I’m not catching the accent?

Palatalised が is consistent with a Tokyo accent. Listen for something like a “nga” (e.g. “chuungakusei”). It differs from a な in that the “n” part is pronounced far back in the mouth, near where you’d expect a “g” as well, rather than farther forward.
