I don’t know if this is on my end or something wrong with Wanikani coding but there are some Kanji appeared really weird. But when I go to the Kanji page the word return back to normal. So I wonder if there was a new updates recently that messed with the coding or not?

I think this is likely to be a font rendering issue that is somewhat specific to your setup? i’m unable to reproduce the bug with “sky”, for instance.

I don’t remember setting any front for Wanikani. Up til today everything are normal.

You are seeing a Chinese font instead of a Japanese one. Make sure you have your computer or browser set to have Japanese as a secondary language and it should fix the issue.

Yeah the slanted stroke on top of 宀 is typical of Chinese variants. Many systems will default to Chinese if not explicitly set up to favor Japanese. The way to do that varies depending on the operating system.

I fixed it now thank, I don’t know why it randomly showing a Chinese font but I check setting and set Japanese as secondary language and reset my pc seem to fix the issue.
