Yeah, I’m quite thankful for the fact that simple vocabulary tends to be used the most often. So even though I only started Japanese a month and a half ago, I can usually pick out at least something in most songs, which is pretty exciting 
As soon as I learned 心 I started hearing it in what seemed like every other Japanese song!
