If you make a person the object of やる it becomes “that” kind of “do.” Definition #11 on Jisho. Would be a little shocking!
You want やらせる, or やらせて as a command.

Uh oh. I was supposed to use ~てもらう to ask a favor of someone but I decided to do something with just やる. やらせる is yet unknown to me so I would just say:
忙しくて、妹にやってもらいなさい。
去年はシアトル市に行ってハンバーグを食べて見ました。
I hope I used て見る correctly this time

今朝僕は寿司が目の保養だ。
目の保養- jisho says “a feast for the eyes,” but the fun 和英 cat book I have says “eye candy,” so I would like to think I am making a joke here about going on a date with sushi.
I acknowledge that this might be a bad joke

Yes, it’s correct. Just a note that, generally speaking, when a word like 見る is used metaphorically like this as an auxiliary, it’s standard to not use the kanji. Same goes for くる or いう, etc… If no one is literally looking, coming, or speaking, then hiragana is most common.
