Japanese conjugation question

Hiya, what would be the conjugation into ます form of the word ぶぶ? Thank you, I’m not sure

If a verb ends in ぶ then it would be conjugated into びます
忍ぶ - 忍びます
呼ぶ - 呼びます

I can’t find ぶぶ in the dictionary but I assume it is ぶびます as well

Rules for ます conjugation
Ru-verbs/一段 verbs - remove the る and add ます
食べる - 食べます

U-verbs/五段 verbs - replace the う sound with an い sound (So ぶ to び, う to い, く to き, etc.)
書く - 書きます
帰る - 帰ります
言う - 言います

Exceptions (That I can think of at the moment)
する - します
来る - 来ます

What’s that mean?

Another possibility would be ぶぶします, but we would need to know if it’s a 五段 verb or a する verb.

It’s ok I’m sure someone will find it useful. Or good on you if you wanna write a japanese textbook someday.

I knew exactly where this thread was going once I read the opening post, and it did not disappoint. 10/10.

Guys, I have a question. How would you conjugate おっぱう to 〜ます form? I must know, this is very important for my continuing sanity

You wouldn’t, because obviously the proper respectful form should be ごっぱう. It’s just one of those things you have to remember.
