Italki book courses

I know a lot of people on here post about wanting to try out Italki, so I wanted to let you guys know that there’s actually a teacher that does group courses on books. I think there’s one coming up on 魔女の宅急便. So if you wanted to read that on a schedule and talk about it with other people in Japanese, it’s maybe a good opportunity! Looks like it runs for four weeks starting at the end of July and covers the first half the book.

Not an advertisement, just thought people may be interested, I’ll probably check it out myself.

That sounds like a fun idea.

I haven’t been on italki in ages, wow they make it really hard to use. I tried searching for a teacher and that book but it didn’t come up! Could you post a link?

Of course! Here’s the link!

Yeah, I like exploring Italki every once in a while and seeing what group classes are happening but they don’t make it easy to navigate (and not every class is very good haha).

I’d like to point out and should have done in the intro post that this course is like $80 USD. I know not everyone is interested in paying money so it’s good info.

Thanks! That looks really fun actually. It’s in the middle of my workday afternoon unfortunately! I’ll keep an eye out for more, maybe we can use this thread if we find other similar courses.

I wonder if this is interesting, by the same teacher

Yes-- I’m actually signed up for that one! Never had a class with this particular teacher so I figured I’d try one of their classes before comitting to a 4 week course.
