Does anybody else have proof or not, whether this or any language is a scam.
If the existence of Japanese itself is a get-rich-quick scam, itās not working.
Well Iām not rich yet, soā¦ maybe ?
On a more serious note, Iāve been seeing kanji and vocabulary Iāve learned here in books Iāve been reading. WK does work, but you do need to make sure you try to go read actual content (manga, novels, news, short stories, games, etcā¦) so it can stick. Otherwise youāll just end up forgetting and it wonāt be the programās fault. The brain will only keep information around for so long if you donāt use it.
How Can Language Be Real If Our Money Isnāt Real
Idk, I think we are culturally richer for having studied it.
Wanikani works
Quickly? Absolutely not.
Languages are a scam invented by dictionary companies to sell you more words. But as far as learning a language, wanikani is sort of legit. You learn some kanji and eventually try to read. It doesnāt do everything for you but it helps some.
Donāt even get me started on big Wheelchair profiting off peopleās inability to walk and keeping them dependent on their products, sometimes indefinitely!
Judging by your profile pic, youāve been conned by big BBC, which has been trying to keep us addicted to the same tv program for what, 60 years now? The ultimate scheme.
If itās a scam, why canāt I get the kanji out of my brain. Why canāt I get the kanji out of my brain
Can you elaborate on how or in what ways a language could be a scam? Do you have any examples of any languages which are a scam?
Esperanto?
(donāt come for me, Esperanto enthusiasts)
I was expecting Klingon to be mentioned
Dang it, I missed the obvious, youāre so right.
Vi kreus verajn malamikojn per tiu maniero de paroloā¦
I donāt know what that is, but if itās Esperanto, I take back what I said before, what a strange and wonderful collection of words youāve shown here
Edit: this probably sounds like sarcasm but itās actually not. I love it when languages insert random jās into words. but I still wonāt learn Esperantoā¦
I took you as sincere, no worries
That is Esperanto. It also has letters with little hats on them, like Ä and ĵ and Å and all sorts of fun stuff!
Iām Romanian, our language has both little hats on a couple of letters (Ć¢ and Ć®) and also little commas under a couple others (Å and Å£) aaand even an inverted hat (Ä)ā¦ Hmmm does that make it a double/triple-scam?
