Is there are way to increase time before needing to refresh page?

I’m wondering if there’s a way to change the time Wanikani gives you between the last time you typed something and when it goes down and asks you to refresh the page. Of course, I know that you can just click “wrap up” but I’m wondering if there are any other possibilities for times that you take too long in the restroom or what-not.

I think it’s 30 minutes and that’s it.

It’s 30 minutes for you? It’s somewhere between one and five minutes for me.

Really? Oo I once opened reviews and did nothing but stare. I counted 30 minutes.

Lol, I can’t imagine doing something like that! But no, it’s much less for me. I’ll time it once I get more reviews.

Maybe you have a poor connection and actually keep disconnecting?

That would be the rational explanation, but this has always happened to me on WK, which I’ve used on a few different computers in several different places.

I’ll keep this in mind, though, and put an actual timer on it to see how long I wait until it happens to see if it’s the same all the time.

It’s in the one to five minute range for me too!

I think they should just remove this “feature”. It doesn’t serve any purpose. When it happens to me I go into the dev console and delete the element blocking the page. Behavior does get slightly weird, so I just do that to wrap up the current session, and then I refresh the page.

Yeah, I feel like it’s around 5 minutes for me, too. 10 max. Maybe it somewhat depends on our internet connection too… a weaker connection maybe makes it “hang up” sooner?
