Sometimes after a review session, I still feel like there is plenty of room in my brain to learn more radicals and kanji. Is there a way that I can force more lessons at a time?
Do you mean get new lessons early? If so, I’m afraid not. The only way to unlock new lessons is to guru radicals and kanji.
I think some people perpetrate some sort of reorder script shenanigans to delay vocabulary lessons and somehow make leveling up easier. I don’t know more than that though. You could try searching the forums for reorder script if you are interested in something like that.

A bit of patience. Get a couple of levels under your belt and you will have the opposite problem. WK has pretty carefully designed the SRS timings. It doesn’t seem like enough right now, but you will eventually find yourself not doing lessons when they are available because you have too many reviews to do.

Radicals and Kanji are critical to getting more lessons. If you do those as soon as possible then you will get new lessons as soon as possible. That is the essence of using the reorder scripts to level up faster
