Is my translation correct?

Hello! I was looking through Japanese Twitter and I found this phrase: 今日も1日雨だ. As far as I can tell, it means “today is another rainy day.” Is that right? Thank you!

Eek! I’m sorry, but I’m not quite at your level of Japanese yet. May I have an English translation please?

it means it will rain all day today too.
The 1日【いちにち】 while normally being ‘1 day’, is sort of short for 1日中【いちにちじゅう】 which means like ‘(for) the entire day’…
