For those who study grammar out of a textbook, I was thinking that it might be a good way to help each other stay motivated. We could have a reading schedule and on-going discussion thread like in the book clubs.
I prefer みんなの日本語, but would use Genki if it was the preference of other people.
Let me know if it’s something that you would be interested in 
I don’t have Minna No nihongo but Genki.
At the Moment I’m using Japanese from Zero, but I would Like to do Genki 1&2 anyway.
We could use a certain book as a Guide for the Order.
That sounds like a good plan. There are 12 lessons (chapters) in Genki 1. A conversation and grammar section at the front, and a reading and writing section at the back. Each lesson is approximately 20 pages. I was thinking of keeping the thread pretty informal because people are likely to progress at different rates. We could share our progress, ideas, and suggestions.
There doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of interest in this thread, so I think that I’ll just keep my questions and progress to existing threads
