[iOS & iPad & Android] Kakehashi - A Native App to Bridge Your Vocabulary to Real Content

Hey, new user to the app here. Great work! I really enjoy the music section. I tried linking my spotify but I don’t think it ever ended up connecting.

Yeah, I tried linking my spotify account many times but it doesn’t connect at all for some reason

See this post above about Spotify.

Ohhhh! I see, Thank you!

Hey!! Sorry for the late reply! A few people mentioned this in the app as well, and this is what I replied after looking into it:

I just realized that Spotify only let’s you do this for up to 5 users unless you apply for unlimited users (but for that you need at least 250.000 monthly users :exploding_head:)
The only workaround possible is to add your own client id (similar to api key) from Spotify, but it is a bit of a more involved work from the user (it takes around 5 minutes to set up)
If people really wants this feature and are willing to do that setup then I’ll add it, otherwise I’ll have to remove the Spotify feature (until I have 250k monthly users lol)

It looks like a bunch of people are willing to do this setup, so I’ll add it soon to the app

Hi there. I’ve been really loving the app!

Recently, I’ve noticed something that may be a bug: The amount of remaining kanji to finish a level is different between the app and the website.

Here’s an example:

It doesn’t change even when I refresh, or close the app and restart it.

It’s not a big deal, but figured you’d want to know.

Hello, I’m asking here because the app seems perfect for my ask/suggestion but maybe it already exists somewhere else.

Is there a way to add a “paste” page that would highlight the wanikani vocab and kanjis of the pasted text? Much like the News tab but for whatever Japanese text we would stumble upon on the interweb. I’m guessing there would be a size limit to avoid crashing the app but that would be a great help. Thanks.
