Strange, can you share more details, does it immediately show as incorrect even though its correct on the app and such, or does it say its correct but upload wrong data to wanikani? Does it happen when you have multiple similar or synonym words in a review or lesson or words with lots of possible readings / sayings? I’m wondering if one of the extra options is getting conflated.
It says I haven’t completed it and marks it as 0% complete. It finally moved me past the first five, but it’s stuck on the “incomplete lesson” again.
ok found it, sorry about that, its a specific android bug with the shuffle questions option enabled. you might turn that off for now so you can at least use the app normally. Note those items never actually made it to wanikani’s servers, so you might see them again for a pass until they get sent and updated properly. Fix should be live on Android as 1.1.7
For multiple choice issues @Megatron a small change on both Apple and Android is also in place, let me know if it resolves your issue, it’s also part of 1.1.7 on both.

might have found a bug - the readings dont play on click / automatically, i tried switching from kyoko to kenichi but no luck

One thing that keeps messing me up is for some reason in the osx and android apps typing jyo results in よj

glad to hear you like the design! I wanted it to keep the wani aesthetic but feel native to each mobile platform.
as for this bug, can you share more details, I cannot reproduce it, audio plays back fine both on click or automatically for me.

The buttons are there but when clicked it changes state but doesn’t trigger the sound.
Ive tried:
- deleting and reinstalling the app
- restarting my phone
- syncing with wani kani manually
- changing the audio settings in the app
let me know if theres any other things i could try!

Hmm, can you share which iPhone, and which version of iOS you have?
And sorry to ask, but just to confirm, you adjusted the volume and make sure silent mode is turned off right? The app will not play audio if silent mode is enabled. (sound effects, if enabled, might still play if you have silent mode on, but that is actually a bug i’m going to fix)
