Are my votes too obvious?

I do not see any pattern there :see_no_evil:

I’m a little concerned that if I vote for a book, I’ll find it as hard to keep up with as 時をかける少女…

Omg the Seishun Buta Yarou Series was in the nominations how didn’t I notice it they have one of the best ships ever

Dang, looking back, there are a lot of really good books in there…

No longer working.

I’m more interested in reading most of the nominations here than the current picks in the beginner club but I have many many doubts about whether I could keep up with the intermediate pace so I don’t know if I should vote.
I mean I’m currently catching up with 時をかける少女 so there is nothing I can say in my defense

i won’t vote on anything, just waiting till whichever starts and jump in
still reading through harry potter, which by the way would be great, too. fits the level. it’s nice though to be busy with a book until the title is decided, then go with the flow and not chomp it all down in a couple days.
i just love reading too much to hold back.

Anxiously waits to see which book will win

@Radish8 Even though you’re not voting, are there any specific books you are interested in that you’d try to read if they win?

This is like watching the presidential elections without the world-ending ramifications

I think there was a lot of pre-existing support for Kino’s Journey

I’d try Wolf Children because it looks like the easiest  and Kino’s Journey, because I’d really like to read that so it would be a shame to miss the chance to read it with all you wonderful people. Finally… probably Land of the Lustrous.

I’d like to read Night Market and I Want to Eat Your Pancreas too, but… not today  unless I got too sad and bought them in a moment of weakness, which is not unlikely

I’m aiming to read three books this year (including 時をかける少女), so I’m gonna have to read something on top of the Beginners’ Club at some point.

After how much people have talked about it here, I feel like I may buy Haruhi Suzumiya even if it doesn’t win. (That I only was able to watch four episodes of the anime before it became unavailable for streaming here due to funimation may or may not have contributed to that feeling)

Because my interest has come back and I won’t feel like waiting six months to give it another shot I will also probably read it regardless

When I was both reallt excited about Haruhi and really excited about Japanese, I actually bought like… eight? of the light novels, but never read them (despite numerous attempts) because they were way outside my level at the time. It would be nice to finally get something out of that purchase.

I’m buying Kino’s Journey, Haruhi Suzumiya, and maybe Magical Girl Raising Project no matter what wins. And I guess I’ll most likely buy the winner if it’s something else, depending on what it is. I’d read the Pancreas book even though I didn’t vote for it, but I’d really rather not read Your Name or Wolf Children since I don’t want to read adaptions.
