We already have “visually similar kanjis” that helps to quickly check out what with that we could mistake the kanji.
It would be nice to have similar secion with “similar vocabulary” where, as in the example, both mean “to learn”. 学ぶ page mentions the other (would be lovely to do it vice-versa as well with the comparison) but having a link would also go a long way.
Maybe, instead of a completely new section, just add link to the Meaning section?
Sometimes in Meaning section they mention something like “this is different from the other word with the same meaning in the following way…”, but it’s not universal.
Yes, sometimes they do like https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/映る what I had now mentioning https://www.wanikani.com/vocabulary/写る
The thing is - sometimes the descriptions are more in-depth, sometimes less. In both cases though it would be nice if they would inter-link those to make it easier to navigate to the other item and read more just like they do with “kanji composition”.
In the end we operate wanikani in the browser and it’s a “web app” build using HTML which stands for Hypertext Markup Language, so linking between stuff is innate
