Not a WaniKani issue, but lately (like, for the last few days or so) I’ve noticed that Firefox hangs for about thirty seconds every time I switch my keyboard from English to Japanese. I at first thought it was a discord issue, because it mostly seemed to only happen when I was using these forums, but this week it’s been spreading to other tabs as well. Has anyone else noticed this? Is there something I can tweak to make things smoother?
Do you have the latest version of firefox?
I wasn’t using the latest, but only by 0.0.1 of a version. I am now, and that seems to have done the trick (though, to be fair, restarting the browser may have also done the trick - guess I’ll just wait and see whether it comes back over time).
