I'm Ready to take the next step

After starting on October 16th, I’ve finally gotten through the first 3 levels. I haven’t mastered any kanji yet, but I’m working on it every day. Thanks to my new desk job I get many more opportunities to do short reviews throughout the day and I think that’s helped a lot by keeping me closer to review times. I also keep a journal of all the kanji, their meaning, and pronunciation (also whether it’s kun’yomi or on’yomi, or an exception) and I work on writing the kanji out as I’m learning and reviewing so I can cement everything. As soon as I get home today I’ll be getting the annual subscription and starting off level 4, which is so exciting.

Welcome aboard! Best of luck with your studies. It seems daunting, but it isn’t really. At least, that’s my experience thus far. Learn the kanji, do the reviews. Rinse. Repeat. Profit.

はじめまして!
I started September 22nd and you’re the same level as me so you’re definitely not going slowly. Keep up the good work!
