I'm doing it guys

I’m moving on to NativShark as it is not currently plagued by poorly planned and even more poorly communicated updates

I’ll stay at the WK forums though, I love the POLLs and their shenanigans

It is very brave of you to engage with sharks on your journey to Japanese mastery.

Even sharks obey the Caesar

Crabigators on the other hand, I’ll have to send my legions across the Rubicon

Now I’m wondering if there are river crabs in real life

I’m not interested unless this is the native shark

I imagine the licensing fee is quite steep

Perhaps WK should rebrand with Botan?

A single sub is worth the lifetimes of several WKers! That’s how valuable it is!

I just said I’m going to stick with the POLLs smh my head

Once you’re POLLed in, can never POLL out

Hí, I want to know what other people think about NS, because it is certainly expensive af

What has your experience been so far that makes it worthy?

The UI is way better, and customizable

Audio is also better

And it has an “I know this” button

It’s def more expensive, but you’re also getting more bang for your buck

I quit Nativshark after a while. In the beginning I was quite enthousiastic about it but I found the grammar explanations severly lacking after a while.

For learning Kanji it’s certainly not a replacement for WK.

So after a while I noticed that for each grammer point I went to other resources to find better explanations and examples and the only thing I was using Nativshark for was learning some new vocab. And for learning and refreshing vocab I find apps like Iknow a lot better.

Dang it, the Japanese learner has it harsh

Not at all, you just have to find the tools that work for you. WK worked great for me - maybe Nativshark works better for you. But I honestly think there is no better way to learn Kanji than with WK.
