I didn’t copy it from online, I just came up with it on the spot. If you would please give feedback of any kind, negative or positive. ![]()

(honestly I ran out of things to say)
because you didn’t clearly follow the stroke order, I wouldn’t expect people to be able to read it.
(I’m not trying to be rude I swear) yes, but I’ve practiced the kind of motions used in cursive and quite a few deviate from the “official stroke order” in various ways. For context I use Ryohkei.
you don’t sound rude! I’m just telling you my feedback ![]()
My feedback would be:
- The stroke order for the 亠 is incorrect…it should start with the small vertical stroke at the top and then the horizontal line comes second. Stroke order is really important for cursive style writing since there are trailing brush lines that connect strokes.
- The corners on the portion right below that in the middle are too sharp and look like print font (楷書体). For cursive or a semi cursive style it can be more rounded.
- The way you connected the middle portion and the bottom made it look like it’s a kanji with a cutting stroke when 高 doesn’t have any long vertical stroke. Not every line in cursive has to be connected with the rest like it does when writing cursive in the Roman alphabet.
I looked up 高 in my font dictionary and thought I’d share with you in case the references are helpful for understanding what I meant.
Good luck!
Where can I get one of these. Please my man. Also does it at least look nice?
The vertical line connecting from the top to the middle would throw me off from knowing what character it was meant to be if I hadn’t seen the thread title.
Yeah I tried my best to cut that out mb. Other than is it decently readable with context. I tried to make something unique but readable, while staying as simple as i could make it while still being able recognize the character.
