Sadly, this is true, especially for your apprentice and guru items. The longer an item has been with you, the higher the chance you’ll remember it. I myself, had two long breaks until now (one was like two month, the other around three), so I konw it can be pretty demotivating to go through all the reviews… But on the bright side: relearning will take you less time! Once you are caught up, it will be easier again! You can get through it! Good luck!

My short-term memory retention is pretty poor - forget about two weeks, how about forgetting meanings or readings after two minutes…
