I just want to check that these are the same grammar structure

Hello,

During my listening practice, I heard 「〜ようにしてください」.

I’m pretty sure that it is the same as the grammar point in Tobira Lesson 3. (I’ve only started this lesson this weekend) Can anyone confirm this (see pictures)? Thanks for the help!

Ooo, Tobira. Been a while since I even looked at my copy. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d need the context of your listening sentence to be certain, but yeah, I’m pretty sure that’s the same structure, just in the ~てください form.

Ah, the listening script is in the second picture :)! Yeah, I was thinking the same! Thank you

You have it in the 〜てください form in the sample sentence 3 of the first image, by the way.

Edit: just noticed I was 5h late. Oh well.
