While i was doing my lessons i somehow or another managed to force the system to auto translate to hiragana when it was on the meaning portion.
Sometimes having multiple wanikani tabs open does that. Also, if you have a Japanese IME installed, check that it didn’t accidentally change over to kana mode.
Thanks i guess it was the separate tab then. I don’t have a japanese IME installed. (
