# I can't log into Kaniwani

So I have tried logging into KaniWani multiple times, but it won’t let me. I have changed my password, cleared my cache, and tried incognito mode. Nothing has worked. The login credentials have worked logging into WaniKani, but when I try them with KaniWani it say unable to login with provided credentials.
Anyone else have this problem?

KaniWani is a separate website that’s not affiliated with WaniKani. You have to create a separate account with KaniWani and use you API key (found [here](https://www.wanikani.com/settings/account)) to sync the content with WaniKani.
