How to type a small tsu before an n?!

Hey I’ve wanted to translate something from a show I saw written in the subtitles as " あっねえ". I wanted to type it into jisho (and tried it in wanikani) but I dont know how to since you usually double the consonant but if you do that with an n it becomes ん. I feel like I missunderstood something and a small tsu before a n ist just not possible but I cant figure out what I did wrong then  Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

x + letter you want (in this case it’s つ). This makes all the letters small.

So, あ + x + つ + ねえ.

EDIT: I Leebo’d Leebo himself. He was typing, but no more. I can go back to bed, my day can’t get any more successful than this.

Actually, you don’t ever type a small っ before a な-line character - you just use ん instead.

I feel like あっねえ might be some kind of slang. It sure ain’t gonna appear in Jisho. Maybe it’s あのね.

you could also double a different consonant, and then just backspace so you only have the っ left over

I become aware of that watching anime with subtitles in romaji, I was like oh why are there so many X’s??

Congrats, you’ve taken your first step into becoming a full Leebo.
You’re now in stage 1: Leebaby

I’m afraid that content is strictly classified and can only be unlocked like you would do with certain hidden badges

I personally like using l (lower case L) instead of x because it’s in the words “little” and “small”

ltu = っ

also I don’t usually type the s in tsu

it’s an exclamation.
あっ、ねえ
the あ is short and ends abruptly.

そーだよねっ

That also works.

Aye, I do that too, except that some IMEs (like WaniKani’s) renders “la” as ら instead of ぁ. And so on.

You’d also get it if you typed l + tsu
that’s l as in lowercase L

after posting I saw the post above me lol
