What do you mean by this??, sorry if it is too basic.
No worries. I mean you use the Reorder script to make sure reviews are presented in the order where it asks you for Reading before it asks you for Meaning, instead of the WK order, which is random.
I wouldn’t worry too much. Just do your reviews every day and you’ll get better.
I don’t understand people who say “leeches” are a problem. Won’t you eventually master them if you see them enough? I thought that was the whole point of SRS…(correct me if i’m wrong, I am still a noob).
Oh god all this talk of percentages… I almost always end up with 70-80% correct in bulk reviews. Can’t count small reviews (5 or less) because that’s too small.
It takes me over a month per level because I do max 5 new “things” a day. And I want to make sure I am retaining as much as I can. If I do too many lessons in a day now it will make the reviews stockpile fast, and I’ll likely have trouble remembering them…
To an extent, yes. That is indeed the point of the SRS, but if a kanji stays stuck in Apprentice for too long that’s a good indication that it’s giving you more trouble than it should - and if similar kanji come along while it’s stuck there that’s yet another problem because there are now two kanji you likely can’t even really tell apart.
The SRS takes care of a lot, but sometimes it needs a little nudge. That can be as simple as taking some extra time to repeat the meaning/reading a fews times, making up your own mnemonic or learning a word with the kanji in it, though - in most cases that’s enough for me, at least, but YMMV.
