(Hopefully) quick question

I saw a Japanese ad for a sandwich in 7/11, and this is what was written:

What exactly is ふわもち?(Bottom left) Jisho doesn’t find anything, google translate doesn’t find anything (though that’s no surprise). Maybe one of you guys can get it cause I absolutely hate seeing just one word that I don’t understand and not being able to find out what it means.

Maybe it’s a combination of ふわふわ and もちもち? Or maybe ふわふわ + 持ち? These are just wild guesses though.

Don’t know, but I just learned 大好評, so thanks for that. :slight_smile:

ふわふわでもちもち according to one of the teachers I work with. So like @seanblue said.

This should be the correct interpretation. It is a combination of two words that describe texture you get after putting it to microwave oven.
ふわふわ = soft/fluffy
もちもち = springy/doughy/sticky

Same :astonished:

To op: Did you try the bread? Maybe it will confirm the fuwafuwa mochimochi part

It’s just an ad I saw on YouTube randomly, I’m not actually in Japan. I wish though :sweat_smile:
