Hiroshima Mall (Cat View!)

cross posted from the Kitsun forums, because I didn’t want to leave out anyone who may not be over there!

Hey guys! I’m currently in college and one of my classes (how to get the most out of public libraries) required us to do some digging about maps. In the class forums, someone posted a link to a map they found that had a “street view” of a Hiroshima mall, but from a cat’s perspective!

I thought I would share it because the website is in Japanese (although navigable if you aren’t very advanced in your reading skills yet), and includes tons of real signs, posters, etc that you would see out in the “real world” versus learning from a book. It’s pretty good!

if this is the wrong place, please feel free to move me to the correct spot!

Hah, cute. This is Onomichi, though (in Hiroshima Prefecture). I wanna go there so much…

Just gotta find all the cats now.

Though to be fair, regular Google street view is good for that too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I actually went to Onomichi when I was working in Japan last summer. It’s a beautiful historical city with many old temples and narrow paths and stairs on a mountainside. There were also a lot of cats.

Here is a cat triumvirate from Onomichi.

Suddenly this thread goes silent as everybody tries to find all 95 cats…

I’ve only been able to find 89 out of 95 cats. Anybody had better luck?

Why, that’s just a little bit more than 8 out of 10 cats. :slightly_smiling_face:
