Hi everyone, I wanted to share my honest opinion about the new updates. I really like the new dashboard. It’s definitely an upgrade compared to what we had before. Even if some people don’t like it, there are always ways to customize it and fix that. However, I’d like to bring up something else.
I’m not sure if it’s related to some scripts that stopped working, but I noticed that the font color has become a bit duller, almost gray. I also wanted to ask if you guys prefer this new color scheme for radicals and kanji. Before, they were much more vivid and stood out immediately when reading the kanji descriptions, especially after making a mistake in a review, those highlighted words were the first thing your eyes went to. Now the contrast feels so weak that it’s actually hard to tell them apart from the rest of the text.
The same goes for vocabulary studies. I have to admit, the new design looks very clean and mobile-friendly, but I’m not sure if making the colors this muted is actually helpful in this case (especially since the background at the top of the screen is still very bright, which makes the contrast even more noticeable).
