After getting to L10 (for the second time) I wanted to share some frustrating aspects of WK that can be improved, some probably very easily.

The first one is probably the kanji pages. At the bottom for each single kanji page you have a single column with all the vocab words which is not at all helpful for anything. A better way to present the words is to split them in columns based on the reading, and to also add the level the word is from on the left of the word.
This feature will make reviewing the different vocab readings for a kanji very easy, and is also very helpful for stuff like preparing for tests etc. Now the different readings are spread among items in different levels and its a pain to identify with which word you were taught a new reading rather than encountering an endless “You already know the reading for this one!” messages under Mnemonic.

The other thing is the Lesson Picker. As it is now its very hard to quickly orient oneself with the vocab items specifically. You want to see which vocabs are verbs at a glace? You can’t. You want to see which verbs are transitive/intransitive at a glance? You can’t. You want to see which are the vocabs with new mnemonics for new readings at a glance? You can’t. You can’t even middle mouse click any item on the Lesson Picker to open a new tab to go their page directly and see that info, you have to go to their individual pages in a roundabout way from a different tab search/navigation.
Some way to differentiate words at a glance based on parts of speech, transitive vs intransitive verb, vocab containing new mnemonics vs. not will also be a extremely helpful for how you structure your lessons, which items will require more focus and effort to learn vs. others etc.

Of course the whole vocab selection can use an overhaul. There are many many words that I don’t even use in my native language, maybe once in a couple of years, so it’s kinda strange to put effort into memorizing them when they won’t help at all for anything, especially this early in your language acquisition journey.

To add to the above points, there is no clear way to also tell at a glance on any page if the reading taught for a Kanji item is onyomi or kunyomi. Sometimes you want to be able to quickly visually check which is which when looking at a Level page for example.

Same deal with being able to identify which vocab item on a Kanji page (the list on the bottom) has the readings that weren’t taught with the Kanji, it would be easier if you could identify them at a glance as well, since now oftentimes if you mess up a word, open the more info page, and just get “You already know this!”, you have to go hunting if you want to refresh your memory on a specific reading mnemonic.
