Greetings! I’m a newbie to WK, currently ploughing through level 2. I’ve been totally enjoying the learning format and feeling quite chuffed with my new-found knowledge.
I’ve just learned the vocab 力 and 入る. Then the context sentence is 力が入る。
My approach to translating/decoding the sentence went something like:
About your translation, I think the key thing you’re missing is が. It’s marking 力 as the subject of the sentence, whatever comes before が is the person or thing that’s doing whatever comes after が. 力 is doing something. What is it doing? It’s doing 入る. Power is entering = to be filled with strength.
If you haven’t started studying any grammar yet, now is probably a good time to start thinking about how you plan to work on that aspect of the language. There’s a lot of forum threads with suggestions and resources.
