hi,

i’m looking for a way to get a list of kanji meaning + alternative meanings + user synonyms for kanji-items that are srs master and above. no radicals, no vocabs. output as text or csv maybe.

why / what for? learning to write kanji - but only as soon as i’m somewhat familiar with them (srs \>=master). like this: put the list into excel, read meaning, write kanji, check, maybe correct, mark in excel, next item. kinda what the skritter-app does but with user synonyms and also skritter is too expensive (15$ / month last time i checked) and i prefer writing kanji on paper not touchscreen.

i’d gladly work it out myself but it seems i’m too stupid to sort the output of [https://www.wanikani.com/api/user/[API-key]/kanji](https://www.wanikani.com/api/user/%5BAPI-key%5D/kanji) with excel alone, so any help is appreciated!

Well, you can paste [https://www.wanikani.com/api/user/[API-key]/kanji](https://www.wanikani.com/api/user/%5BAPI-key%5D/kanji) in your address bar, then copy everything and paste it here [https://konklone.io/json/](https://konklone.io/json/). From there you can “Download the entire CSV”.

ah, amazing! the key-word is “JSON”, which i didn’t know that this was. there are even straight JSON-to-excel converters, so i’ll find my way from there.

many thanks!
