I think that I understand the Japanese but I’m not sure that I understand the connection here.

I think OP is making a joke about all those scammy articles you see that say “This life hack will make scammers hate you etc”. So OP probably just wanted to share a new proverb that OP found and figured this would be a funny clickbaity title.

I thought it might have been a reference to the recent drama surrounding Matt vs Japan and Ken Cannon going around due to their new “service” they are launching.
