Grammar: finished chapter 19. This time the kanji section taught me something I wish I had known before: the top radical in the 家 kanji is called u kanmuri, or “u crown.” I had no idea that kanmuri is the name for radicals located at the top of a kanji, and the “u” part comes from the fact that this radical looks like a squashed katakana ウ

KD Anki deck: last week’s preset optimisation seems to have worked. New kanjis are appearing more frequently, but in smaller numbers, making them easier to learn.
