# Does WaniKani periodically add common user-entered synonyms?

I’ve noticed sometimes in content updates Wanikani adds some synonyms to the official set.

Does anyone know if they sometimes do this by looking the most common user-entered ones and making them official?

They’ve never said they do that. I think most often it’s from people emailing them suggestions.
