I was studying in Wanikani and they had a sentence where they used 人種差別主義者… when i looked it up on Jisho i couldn’t help but crack a smile, a seven kanji combination for just one English equivalent, racist…do people actually use it even in newspapers and such? it’s really really long.
PS, what’s a better word for racist?

It’s probably pretty accurate. You can attach 主義者 to the end of words to turn it into a term for a person who follows a certain ideology, in this case racial superiority.

They do also use the word レイシスト.
