Hmm I did that sounded weird though.
DeepL gave me this, which sounds more accurate, but I can’t say for certain:
“I don’t have much to say about the comics. Basically, I leave the comics to the manga group.”
Ah thank you, that does sound more natural.
The からね means that something came before this that this is explaining… would kind of be nice to have that too.
And yeah… I don’t really see かた as more likely than ほう unlike @PosturelessHobo, personally. But that’s why context could affect it.
It was just this 私は先生の ライトノベル が好きですが、漫画は非常に異なって感じます
But be warned that doesn’t always mean an accurate translation. Deepl can be better than GT, but it sometimes also can be deceiving when it makes “natural-sounding” translations that are wrong.
Yup, this is very important to keep in mind when using DeepL (or any translator for that matter)!
I am out of likes again, sorry @athomasm!
Yeah, I would lean toward 漫画のほう
Okay thank you.
No need to apologize about anything.
no it’s not lol
What’s up with all the machine learning answers? It’s the blind leading the blind leading the blind out here.
Yeah I think the whole point of asking on a forum is to get a human answer. They could’ve easily run it through GT themselves if they’d wanted to.
