Do you ever feel personally attacked by a mnemonic?

I just learned the 肉 (meat) radical and the mnemonic called me a cannibal. What’s up with that? D: And there’s been more mnemonics where Wanikani called me out on things I would never do! Have you ever felt personally attacked by a mnemonic?

(I jest of course, but still xD )

Not attacked, per se, … but especially the past couple levels, WaniKani’s instilled within me a powerful hatred for Mrs. Chous everywhere.

Of course not! I embrace mnemonic fully, for its duration becoming what it says about me. (and a sense of humor helps)) But I think I got a deep suspicion and animosity toward sheeps from mnemonics. lol

I feel that Ken’s love of squid is excessive, cos I know for a fact he’s not telepathic

Certainly every time I come across a 町 or a 丁, I just shake my fist and shout CHOOOUUUUU!

Doctor Lecter, I presume?

I don’t read mnemonics. If I were to, I wouldn’t be offended. It is just learning material.

I’ve been liking Mrs. Chou more and more. I wonder if that says something about me as a person

I remember back in the day when Charlie Sheen and Hard Gay were running rampant before the Offense Police came and took them away.

You wouldn’t believe it, people being offended left and right!

We’re still making jokes, right? I didn’t really read through the whole thread.

To be honest, Mrs. Chou is the most fleshed out character in the Wanikani universe.

I thought that was Kouichi? He is the Emperor of all things after all.

I’ll just leave this here…

This is what happens when you become complacent with the chopping.

Maybe you need to watch the Japanese version that has an alternate soundtrack?
