Do these sentences sound right?

I wrote a few sentences while learning N5 grammar from bunpro. It would be great if someone could give them a quick glance and tell me if there is anything wrong, would help massively!

私の友達の前はそれを食べないでください。恥ずかしいよ。
Please don’t eat that in front of my friends, its embarrassing!

お母さんの食べ物を食べてはいけません。
You mustn’t eat mums dinner.

学校で走ってはいけません。
You mustn’t run in school.

私は毎日勉強しなかったから、昨日のテストは難しかった。
Yesterdays test was hard because I didn’t study every day.

マクスは図書館でアーロンと日本語を勉強している。
Max is studying with Aaron in the library.

今日は忙しいから日本語を勉強していない。
I am busy today so I am not studying Japanese.

日本語か英語で話しましょうか。
Shall we speak in Japanese or in English?

Any criticism would be very helpful!

（私の）友達の目の前にそれを食べないでください。

食べ物 is not “dinner”, though. 夕食 - dinner.

Correct, but somehow I’d say 学校で走ってはダメです。

You don’t have to use 私は unless prompted by context.

I think this translation (from English to Japanese?) might be a little too literal?
今日は忙しいから日本語を勉強しない。

Can’t comment on the rest.

Just correcting for grammar

Or が

This is shall we talk in English or Japanese? As in shall we speak in one or the other and not asking for their preference.
日本語か英語のどちらで話しますか？
Means which one of the two do you want to speak in.
