Iâve disabled the setting discussed in the link of the original post. Give it a try now.
Is this test really fine though? TEST.
This is also a test
@viet It seems like there are also settings that could fix the issue @Leebo mentioned above. Fixing that would be a huge improvement.

Try it now. Iâve disabled the two mentioned settings
Seems to be working as described. I can tell right from your post. Thanks again! Have a nice holiday!
Oh, nice. I do like this.
OMG IT LOOKS SO MUCH BETTER NOW. GJ TEAM.

I think the last related setting is suppress_reply_when_quoting. I believe turning this one off will make it so that replies still show the avatar of who youâre replying to, even if you also quoted that user. This one is useful to disable for when youâre quoting multiple people in the same post, so that itâs still clear who youâre replying to specifically.
Okay. Iâve disabled this one just now.
Okay. Iâve disabled this one just now.
Great, thanks!
You guys are heroes.
YAAAAAAAY
Just discovered if I start writing a post in reply to a specific person, I can no longer change it to a post responding to the thread in general without deleting the entire post and starting over. Which setting changed that?
Looks like it works fine to me.
This is what I get:

Only happens if youâve actually started writing a post, mind.
@Belthazar I tried it on mobile and it worked fine.
Youâve never been able to change who a post was targeting when editing if thatâs what youâre trying.
Nah, changing who a post is targeting is easy - I just need to push âreplyâ on a different post while Iâm writing.
What Iâm talking about is the pull-down menu under the arrow in the top left corner of the edit box which lets me change it to âreply as a linked topicâ or âreply to topicâ (i.e. remove the targeting altogether). I used to be able to do the latter while in mid-post, but now I just get the dialogue box above. I confess I donât know precisely when that change happened.
