Wait, I though we were supposed to be going down towards Durtle Heaven?! Why are you still seeing a horizon?

Might possibly be more effective if you actually tagged @a-regular-durtle :stuck_out_tongue:

We’ve @ed him so much today I felt like he got the message already XD

We have a weird AZERTY layout

If you only need some letters with diacritics, isn’t there a US International keyboard? (Or just holding a letter to have the other versions on the basic QWERTY keyboard)

C’est ben plus facile que le japonais, mais actuellement je parle un petit peu le Quebecois a ce moment.

Aka, I’m being kind of slangy and lack a French keyboard for all the accented letters and cedillas

Plus autocorrect is really f**king it up.

On my phone? My computer’s all have a ā€˜Canadian French’ option

Trivial fun fact: I was watching German- commentated figure skating the other day and understood about 70% of the words. Not bad for not really ever studying German.

Note: This has nothing to do with the riddle

Ohhh, I didn’t know that, but there is indeed a ā€œCanadian Frenchā€ keyboard layout (a modified QWERTY)

I assumed people from Quebec were using the same layout as France (AZERTY)

I’ve never seen an AZERTY keyboard in real life. I think QWERTY might be the North American standard.

Actually, this could potentially be relevant to the riddle. Because Koichi & co, being in Seattle, are more likely to use QWERTY boards. So if keyboard transposition is part of the cipher, we should probably stick to QWERTY layout.

Yay, my brain finally coughed up something sensible and useful.

Agreed. Maybe worth forgetting about the clues for a while and structuring a psych profile on how someone would design this cipher based what we know would perhaps spark a fresh direction.

I believe the clues regarding non-mathematical/easy math and an original method (what would a durtle do?). Also an intimate knowledge of WK/Tofugu.I hesitate to add space/death/key clues in this scenario given all its interpretations

Note the dust

Keyboard layouts are such a mess compared to what they could be

To make it easier to review our clues, I added all puzzle text to the top of the wiki.

Next step, add all of @a-regular-durtle and @koichi’s clues relating to our current stage of the puzzle. But I’ve gotta step away for a while, so if someone else is interested in gathering those…
