Today I learned about 競争, in which it’s noted that Wanikani’s mascot could eat all the other language learning mascots. Can’t say that I disagree.

May I ask what version of Takeshi’s Castle you’re watching and where you’re watching it currently?
Pretty sure it’s the first one, I’m watching it on Dailymotion, which seems to be a website that’s trying to compete with Youtube.

I really liked watching the show back then and it was quite funny 
They made a “continuation” of the show in 2023 for 1 season and that was it
I need to consider giving this show a go and to mesmerize in the nostalgia

I’m still unable to wait for when I’ll finally be able to casually understand Japanese. I suppose that’s a good thing though, since it’s my main motivator for learning the language lol.

I didn’t have as many reviews as usual today, only around 80 or so (which was the normal just a couple months ago), so I’m afraid that there’s going to be a large amount tomorrow. Probably another day of over 200 reviews :V

I can already tell that remembering the spelling of bad is going to be a hassle. I also learned a lot of words for war today, a few of which I’ve seen within Final Fantasy.

Unexpectedly, I’ve leveled up. I knew that I was getting close, but I thought that it would take a couple more days at least!

Didn’t do too well today, ended up getting a score in the 70% range. I’ll just have to not focus on it and continue progressing in the language instead.

You can always try to keep an eye on the kanji reviews to see when you would level up, per se

I feel like a lot of these new kanji are just going to have to be smacked against my head lack a bat before I finally remember them. Just a bunch of trial and error over and over again.

A bit earlier than normal today, but I couldn’t sleep. I’m tired, but even if I tried to sleep now I don’t think that I’d be able to.
