Copying Wanikani's Word Use and Context sentences to paper

Will copying those sentences (Word use + Context) in the lessons, be beneficial for my reading, writing and retention skills?

Has anyone tried it? What was your experience?

Writing characters by hand puts them into your muscle memory, which helps with recall and even to distinguish between similar-looking ones. At the very least, it won’t hurt, so if you have the time and that’s something you wanna do, I say go for it.

Just be aware though that most of the example sentences aren’t written the way they’d “really” be written since they don’t use kanji WK hasn’t taught you yet, and that may or may not hinder you a bit
