Your close. Basically a partner ask the questions first then the other responds and then returns with the questions. You just did both at once which isn`t bad.

Just remember the third question where you ask them if they like something specifically that you want to know.

ex.
(name)は やきゅうが すきですか

(name of person)Do you like baseball ?

Day two!! Early Release

はじめましょう

Ａ: あした なにを しますか。 (明日 何を しますか)。

Ｂ: あした テニスを します (明日 テニスを します)

A : What will you do tomorrow?

B: I will play tennis tomorrow.

A: だれと テニスを しますか。

B: ともだちと テニスを します。(友達と テニスを します)。

A: Who will you play tennis with?

B: I play tennis with my friend.

A :いつも なんじごろ うちに かえりますか。
(いつも 何時ごろ うちに 帰りますか)。

B: たいてい ７じごろ かえります。( たいてい ７時ごろ 帰ります)。

A: What time do you get home?

B: I usually get home around 7:00.

I can’t really figure out the last one. I get youtube and I think I understand music? I believe the verb at the end is ‘I think’. Please help.

My reply:
うたはどちらが すきですか。
FMA: BrotherhoodでRainすきです。今ききます。

Actually, does anyone know if I should use を or は in this sentence? A song is an object but it’s the topic of this sentence? I instinctively went with を but my instincts are not the best

Maybe someone more suited will explain better but:

Firstly: 好き takes the が particle, not the を. Likes and dislikes are handled like adjectives in Japanese

Secondly: in this case it’s は: “As for songs, which do (you) like”.

It doesn’t make sense to first mark song as subject and then have that subject do “which one is liked?”… if that makes sense.

The が actually goes after どちら like so: うたはどちらがすきですか

Hope any of this made sense!

I should have more confidence in myself because I did think that was what you were trying to say but if I have any doubt I tend not to speak. It’s an issue I have.
Translation: I like BNHA songs and Bleach songs I found that easy to understand.

私もうたのBNHAがすきです。Peace Signがだいすきです。
(I believe I can use だいすき for things).

I tend to do the same thing. But yes you should have more confidence in yourself, sometimes you just have to take a deep breath and go for it.

Translation: I also like BNHA songs. I really like Peace Sign. (is this an anime?)
I checked some of the example sentences on Bunpro and Jisho and it looks like you can use だいすき for things.

うたはどちらが すきですか。
